Always A Great Crash

When will the markets fall?
The ghosts of the Palatine know
this.
The futile obsolescence is
faith.
The pillaged and raped tomorrow
being the rich in this hour
with their orange groves.
The ghosts of the Palatine know
this
and yet they build more skyscrapers
in New York City
where the water is rising
and will rise before the migration
to space is possible
and the fiends of eternity will
perish.

Born Into Advertising

Driving in a BMW®
the air feels warmer and warmer.

Driving in a BMW®
penises get larger and larger.

A flower rests on cow leather.

On the way to a funeral,
driving in a BMW®
young William knows nothing of
his loss.

Tater tots press into the seats.
A cartoon squelches on screen.
Tinted windows blot out clouds.
Children refrain from speaking.

Driving in a BMW®
life is a luxury.

Melville Inth Synthesis

Why is it that the Pacific should not
claim
the streets of San Francisco?
Tyrants en forme,
technologists, the correctors,
civilization saviors,
the autistic logic makers,
. . . the pizza bakers.
Puff crust one is the pizza oven.
Golden long long, far away is night
and naked and to the West,
strangle the forgotten college students,
the hefty educated.
I tie my ropes to be born in Pacific.
The ocean moors the fall,
. . . and the rise of the Privileged.
Stupid earth becomes water.
Smart rockets churn on to Mars.

Generic Rappin’ Eastside River

Suck my bleach,
yo President whitey.

Suck my bleach,
yo President whitey.

When the kingdoms you want,
the kingdoms you create.

Suck my bleach,
yo President whitey.

You suckin’ people’s faith.
You suckin’ people’s fear.

Suck my bleach,
yo President whitey.

Credo Nathan Mumbled

Onst poverty I can’ts buy
the best of the cheap bread;
with American Express®,
the premium brands,
for women
their panty hose,
silk blouses for breasts,
steak dinners times ten.

Where do I go to apply
for luxuries and convenience,
and I may not qualify?
Will a government agency help me
live thee up to standards?

The liberty to possess
and use
American Express®
is attained by honor;
this is not a threat.

The Captor

To make services necessary;
to deliver us from evil

the capital of the superEconomy,

we lay undeterred in assumption
at night, in sleep

not withholding the shortcomings,
not to pronounce autonomous shadows

to be “the best we’ve thought up yet”

live upon a planet
and lay the thing to ruin,

the being as functionless rendered
of the luxury item as needed.

We place incense upon the capital,

or burn the images of Ganesh or of the Trinity,

watch it move across the ages,

you cannot earn money from the reasons of right and wrong.

It is in your head “the layout of the question”,

for
this
can
never
be
repeated.

The Chances Of Imperium

The lines of America.
People lined up in perfectly ordered
queues.
Waiting politely for their turn.
Not questioning.
Not wondering,
except for quietly in their minds.
Though they believe, they have faith,
they know one day
their turn will come.
This is America.
Then they’ll die
still believing in their chances.
And their politicians will hail them,
will praise them
for their upstanding characters
and humble natures
so even from their graves
they still support these structures,
having not raised hands . . .

the spoils that the privileged
prosper,
though the great downfall eventually
of their garrisoned luxuries.

Rosa For Our Feudal

Today she is working
in the sunlight of a courtyard,
bringing police officers and civil clerks
tortilla chips and soda-water.

Rosa is bringing the sunlight on trays
to her masters.

They issue dollar bills and sustenance.
